Nothing could be easier than joining the Radio Victoria team.
We are always on the lookout to expand our schedule as well as get more people going round the wards collecting requests from patients.
If you believe you have what it takes to join this team of enthusiastic volunteers, please complete the form below and send it off.
After sending your e-Mail, you will be contacted by who is responsible for the meet-and-greet
and will see to it that your volunteer application papers are sent out.
Once all your paperwork has been satisfactorily filled-in and you are accepted as a volunteer, your training can begin.
Training is done on-site by on the Radio Victoria studio desk. You will be required to produce at least one
demo showing your prowess on the desk, all of which can be done at Radio Victoria.
You demos are vetted by (Head Of Programming), who is also responsible for the schedule.
Legal stuff:
All volunteers will have to pass a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check as you will be in contact with vulnerable patients. Also, a full
medical check will be carried out by Occupational Health before you can be accepted as a volunteer.
Once your application has been successful you will also be invited to an Induction Day at the hospital.
