This show boasts some interesting features including JD’s Jackpot Swindle which is a sort of quiz/game with a different format
every week, as well as general chat and music spanning different decades.

His first show was as stand-in for John Hunter and he then became a regular stand-in presenter, which meant he was often on air 3
or 4 nights a week. As a stand-in he had the bingo slot one week but craftily got another presenter to read the numbers.
He tried to do a top-10 chart rundown every week and play whatever was number 1. He soon got bored with this as Bryan Adams was at the top
of the charts nearly every week he did it.
He once had a birthday quiz where he would ring presenters and ask them how old they thought famous celebrities are, but discovered that
some celebrities weren’t as famous as originally thought.
